A convenient and full, colour illustrative insight to Snowdonia and its environment. Snowdonia (Yr Wyddfa) is the highest peak in Wales and the views from its summit can be panoramic. But the lakes and valleys lower down its slopes have also much to offer.
Celts and Romans have left their footprints here; the names of early Saints and Welsh Kings live on, and their churches and castles are special places for heritage visitors.
Copper mines, narrow gauge railways and slate quarries are there to be explored and there are numerous foothills, lakeside and woodland walks to be enjoyed. The villages of Llanberis, Beddgelert, Rhyd-ddu and Capel Curig have always been full of the life of these high mountains.

Canllaw darluniadol, hwylus, mewn lliw llawn i Eryri a'i amgylchfyd, o gopa'r Wyddfa, yr uchaf yng Nghymru, hyd at y llynnoedd a'r dyffrynnoedd hudolus ar ei lethrau.
