This is the second CD that Côr Meibion y Foel have produced since their formation in 2000 and it is bound to be as popular as their first, Croesi’r Bont (Crossing the Bridge), which is still selling well at their concerts across north Wales. This new CD’s title, Draw Dros y Don (Away Over the Waves), may not be a reference to the choir’s rural locality right in the centre of the Isle of Anglesey, but the eclectic mix of music certainly conveys the men’s versatility in all types of styles. From the classical to the contemporary, from Mozart to Les Misérables, the selection will appeal to all tastes and reflects the love of singing that characterises the Welsh nation.
