Stori Cyffrous Samuel Roberts. Llanbryn-mair (1800-1881)

In the Welsh context, there is a wealth of volumes and biographies - in both Welsh and English - concerning key figures in Welsh life. Now, that tradition is joined by a volume on the charismatic minister Samuel Roberts of Llanbryn-mair. S.R. merits a thorough study - not only of the man himself but also of his father, his two brothers, and his contemporaries.

Stori Cyffrous Samuel Roberts. Llanbryn-mair (1800-1881)

Yn y cyd-destun Cymreig, ceir llu o gyfrolau a bywgraffiadau, yn Gymraeg ac yn Saesneg, ar ffigyrau pwysig ym mywyd Cymru. Bellach, ymunir â'r traddodiad hwnnw â chyfrol ar y gweinidog carismatig Samuel Roberts, Llanbryn-mail. Haedda S.R. astudiaeth drylwyr - nid yn unig ohono ef ei hun ond hefyd o'i dad, ei ddau frawd a'i gyfoeswyr.
