In 1974, the label Arwydd Records funded two albums by two very different bands. One group was Bür Hoff Bau, who escaped deep into the Meirionnydd countryside to start work on their debut album. Three months later, the band disbanded and they never saw the stage again. The information surrounding the disbanding of this group of eccentric, unique and unconventional musicians is rare. It is also an unknown fact that, despite the disbanding, they managed to record one of the only experimental albums of the period.
