The Rhymney Silurian Male Choir was formed in 1951.  For this CD the choir has included a variety of music. There is music from the United States of America, Africa, and New Zealand, but also not forgetting our own Welsh roots. We have music from the world of opera as well as Musical Theatre and Films. All in all there is something for all musical tastes. From its initial birth the choir swiftly established a reputation for the quality of its performance and the variety of its repertoire. The desire to embrace musical innovation has been its trademark throughout its history.

Wedi llwyddiannau yn yr Eisteddfod Genedlaethol a sawl cystadleuaeth arall, mae’r côr wedi canolbwyntio ar gyngherddau a recordiau, gan godi arian at nifer o achosion da yn sgîl hynny.
