Author Biography:
Gilli Davies’ enthusiasm for food spans over 30 years from running a bistro in Oxford at the age of 19 to writing and presenting a ten-part TV series, Tastes of Wales, in 1990. She has written ten cookery books based on local food culture in Cyprus and Wales and, more recently, organic produce. Since setting up her own company she has run children’s cookery classes, a training scheme to encourage restaurants to use local ingredients and a variety of other food events. She has also contributed to committees for the FSA and Defra.
