‘Sai-thaiñ ki Sur (the Weaving of Voices)

Khasi-Cymru Collective is a collaboration between Gareth Bonello (The Gentle Good) and artists from the indigenous Khasi community of North East India. ‘Sai​-​thaiñ ki Sur comes in a fine gatefold case with extensive liner notes by Gareth Bonello.

Recorded in the city of Shillong and in villages around Meghalaya, ‘Sai-thaiñ ki Sur explores folk songs, poetry, missionary hymns, folklore and historical and contemporary issues affecting both societies.
